benevolence

A silent serenade to beauty and undying hope
Rising sun alerting the crows to feast again
Slumber a dead mans escape
The earthly skies betray a quiet love
Broken by the trees hungry gaze
Lies of leaves that jump from their nests
Fooled by Mother Nature
Only to be swept up and incarcerated
For something they believed to be wise and right
For all who live must die
And all who die must first have suffered
